My main hobbies are astronomy and photography, and I´m an active member of Kumla Astronomi Klubb, a local amateur astronomy club

Partial solar eclipse in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria, March 29, 2006

The images were taken every 15 minutes between 10.15 and 11.30 local time (UTC+1 hour). Link to my solar page.

The partly eclipsed sun seen through a handheld solar filter.

The same method as to the left, but this time with the reflections in the filter showing the Maspalomas desert and hotels behind my back.

Thus the background is image reversed, but the sun is correctly imaged.
