The comets covered 15-25 pixels, while the weakest stars covered only 4-5 pixels. The comets have been enhanced to be visible in this image, click to see full resolution.

Motala, 22.34 CEST. The eclipsed moon was very difficult to dicern in the evening light

No, the image was taken during a power black out in the light of the full moon. Exposure time 30 sec. f/4.0 and ISO 400

Partial solar eclipse in Maspalomas, Gran Canaria, March 29, 2006

The images were taken every 15 minutes between 10.15 and 11.30 local time (UTC+1 hour).                                                                    Link to my solar page.

The same method as to the left, but this time with the reflections in the filter showing the Maspalomas desert and hotels behind my back.

Thus the background is image reversed, but the sun is correctly imaged.
